Modern Whiskey Inspired Wedding in Milwaukee Wisconsin

Sophie and Corey had a stunning whiskey-inspired wedding in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They brought their love of whiskey, travel, and family traditions to so many aspects of their day! Sophie’s love for plants was every, the stunning floral, air plants, and greenery at each place setting! Their sweetheart table was the most beautiful we’ve seen! It got even more epic when they moved the floral arches from the ceremony location.

Their first look was on top of the Metro Hotel in Milwaukee, bringing in their love for Milwaukee! It was a glorious sunny day with a cooling breeze! After the sunny first look, we went downstairs where they read private letters to each other!

We then drove around to hand-picked locations by Sophie and Corey! With one being right next to their apartment! All before heading to their venue, where they were in awe when they walked in! Sophie and Corey brought together some amazing vendors that brought their vision to life!

Every guest who attended was fully vaccinated and had temp checks when they walked in! Sophie works in the medical field and wanted to ensure everyone’s health was thought of! As vendors, we were asked to all wear masks due, which we all respectfully wore all day. This day was filled with so many smiles, pure love, and so much happiness to be together celebrating!

What was the best part of planning your wedding day?

It was picking out small details to make it personal – like childhood photos and custom cocktail stirrers and napkins. We just wanted it to be a memorable party for everyone there!

In your own words describe your day from the night before your wedding to waking up on your first day as mr and mrs!

It was a magical day filled with love. We both kept wondering when we would get nervous, but it was just a calm day filled with our favorite people. Seeing each other at the first look helped make the rest of the day more fun. We prioritized having fun at our wedding, so we ate dinner, drank cocktails, and danced all night. Our incredible vendors knocked it out of the park. The whole day was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Waking up that following day, we were just so delighted and felt so loved. Calling each other husband and wife is still surreal!

What are/were you looking forward to most in your future together?

Building a life and family together. Going on adventures together!

What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding day?

Enjoy the day. The small stuff doesn’t matter. Be with your betrothed and soak it all in.

How do you feel about your decision to go with Natural Intuition Photography?
