Wisconsin Elopement Photographers who believe your wedding day & photographs should be filled with your personalities!
This Intimate Lageret Wedding that Natalie and Lucas designed is filled with romance and unique personal touches. Special touches like candles everywhere, Natalie’s uncle played the guitar while she walked down the aisle. Natalie had a classic yet modern wedding gown in buttery satin and POCKETS! All brides need pockets on their dresses! The bridesmaids picked their dresses, and they all fit their personalities perfectly!
Natalie and Lucas had to postpone their 2020 wedding due to Covid and had to wait an additional 1.5 years. They went from planning a Summer wedding to a Fall wedding! But, the details down to the T were stunning no matter the year! And you could feel the excitement that the day was finally here!
When I arrived at the hotel to meet everyone for getting ready photos, Natalie was chilling on the bed while everyone got ready for the day. There was no stress anywhere. It was a fantastic vibe to walk into! The gentlemen were down the hall watching the Badgers on Tv! Also, another chill room!
The most unique detail they added to their day was the rotary phone that you picked up and left them a message! This was their unique way of doing a guest book! Amazing huh!? Also, there was point and shoot film cameras everywhere! Natalie had one in her hand every second, snapping away! LOVED IT!
We enjoyed the music component of our wedding day. Music is something fundamental to us, so we wanted that to be reflected on our wedding day. We created playlists for each of the sections of our wedding day. These playlists were something that we were constantly adding to and revisiting. We would listen to the playlist on long drives while cleaning the house, etc. This component of our wedding day is something we will continue to come back to and listen to for years to come.
Lucas rigged up an old rotary phone with a voice recorder to capture voicemails left by our guests. When brainstorming what type of guest book we would like, nothing stuck out to us as something we would refer back to frequently. We wanted something meaningful to us and captured that day. Bloopers and all! We’ve had fun splicing the audio clips together and listening to our guests. We plan to transfer the audio onto a record that we can listen to for years to come.
The greatest challenge with planning our wedding had to be COVID-19. We were fortunate to have all our wonderful vendors stay on our team for postponing, but it was difficult. No one anticipated the devastation that the pandemic brought, but having a solid team around us made the transition easy.
