Beautiful Chicago Proposal at Lightology Rooftop
As a photographer, I have seen many beautiful moments, but nothing quite matches the joy of witnessing a couple’s proposal. The anticipation, the emotions, and the excitement in the air are unmatched. This Summer, we had the pleasure of capturing a once-in-a-lifetime moment on the Lightology Rooftop in Chicago. Justin and I were hiding and ready to capture the proposal as soon as Conner got down on one knee to propose to Elizabeth. Their love story was about to take an incredible turn, and I was grateful to be a part of it.
The rooftop was beautifully decorated with natural greenery and the Chicago skyline was in full view. Justin and I were discreetly hidden, waiting for the right moment to capture the magical moment. You could feel the excitement in the air. I had never met Conner and Elizabeth before, but I could tell just by watching them that they were perfect for each other.
The big moment!
As soon as Conner got down on one knee, adrenaline surged through my veins. I had to stay calm, focused, and ready to capture the moment. The look of surprise and joy on Elizabeth’s face was priceless. She was taken aback in the most beautiful and emotional way possible. Tears streamed down her face, and she couldn’t stop smiling. At that moment, I realized how lucky I was to be a part of such a special moment.
Conner and Elizabeth were completely swept away in the moment. They hugged, kissed, and held each other tightly. You could see the excitement and love radiating from their faces. In the heat of the moment, they even forgot that I was there to capture their proposal. The moments shared between them felt like a lifetime. The rooftop was transformed into a beautiful space, where Conner had the opportunity to declare his love for Elizabeth.
After the proposal was over, I had the chance to take some beautiful photos of the newly engaged couple. There was so much joy and love in the air, and I was grateful to be a part of it. It’s amazing to think that I will be forever attached to their love story. Every time they look back at their proposal photos, they will be reminded of the magical moment they shared on the Lightology Rooftop in Chicago.
