As a Wisconsin Proposal Photographer, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of capturing the heartwarming and oh-so-special moment when Desmond asked Megan the big question at his family’s cozy cabin in Wisconsin. Picture this: the sun dancing on the water, the air filled with anticipation, and love blooming in every corner.
Desmond and Megan, a duo straight out of a fairy tale, came all the way from Indiana and New York to spend a dreamy week at the cabin. Little did Megan know that Desmond had a sparkling surprise up his sleeve. He chose the perfect spot – the dock, with its serene view of the water – to pop the question. As he got down on one knee, Justin and I hid behind a shed and a boat, eagerly waiting to capture that magical moment.

When Desmond asked the question that would change their lives, Megan’s reaction was something out of a movie! She leaped up with joy, couldn’t stop beaming, and happy tears flowed like a river. It was a sight to behold – pure, unfiltered happiness.
But this incredible love story didn’t just happen out of the blue. Desmond and Megan’s tale began through the bond of planning activities for their friends’ wedding. As the maid of honor and best man for Bethany and Alex, their love story began to bloom. One date was all it took, and from there, they were inseparable.
Their first ‘I love you’ moment was as adorable as it gets. Folding laundry during their first summer together, with neither of them having said those three special words. They made a playful joke about a tiny sock. In a moment of laughter and warmth, Desmond blurted out, “I love you.” Pausing for a second, Megan’s smile spoke volumes as she returned those precious words. It was a moment of pure, unscripted love.
Desmond and Megan are two peas in a pod – they share a love for travel, sweating it out while working out, and cherishing every moment with their friends and family.
