We are Christine & Justin!
Wisconsin Elopement Photographers who believe your wedding day & photographs should be filled with your personalities!
Amanda and Alex’s summery Wisconsin barn wedding was filled with so much happiness! These two were so much fun at their engagement. Which was also filled with sunlight! The sun must just follow these two around!
Their wedding may have been hot, but that didn’t bother anyone! We found the perfect breezy spot for their first look, family, and wedding party photos! A location that allotted enough shade and a constant breeze! Even though it was crazy on the hair, it was welcomed by all!
Like true Wisconsin fashion the breeze calmed during the ceremony, but we relished in the sun listening to their beautiful vows!
Instead of a cake, they had delicious doughnuts from Greenbush Bakery! We took a break before dinner to cheers on the doughnuts and it was the perfect appetizer! Their first dance included their parents and wedding party! It was straight out of the movies!
Before we left we took them down to the front yard where we were surrounded by fruit trees to take some calm photos of the glowing sunset! These two got lost in each other, got to take a deep breath. And even have a private dance together!
It still feels like a dream! We keep randomly having moments of realizing, holy shit, and we’re married.
Getting to work with and meet SO many amazing vendors. And seeing everything come together.
Amanda’s: If someone had told me six years ago that I would be standing here today, marrying you. Wouldn’t have questioned it. I would have believed it 100%. I feel that this quote describes exactly how I feel about our relationship. And I’m going to try to get through it without crying…
“I didn’t just fall in love with you, I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open. Choosing to take every step along the way. I do believe in fate and destiny but I also believe that we are only fated to do the things that we’d choose anyway. And I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality. I’d find you and I’d choose you. “
I always promise to be your biggest cheerleader and support you in whatever you do. And always encourage you to follow your dreams, except for day trading. Always promise to give you the living room TV for Sunday Night Football, as long as I can have it on Mondays for The Bachelor. I promise to listen to your side of things even when I already know I’m right. I promise to love you unconditionally no matter what life throws our way. Always promise to be your best friend, partner, personal calendar, and wife forever and ever. I cannot wait to see where this journey of life takes us next.
Alex’s: Amanda, you truly are my soulmate, and it means everything to me to be standing here next to you on this beautiful day. Us coming together might seem like a random occurrence in the world, but to me, it’s clear why we met. We have always said that everything happens for a reason. We were brought together to get married and build a life and family together. For my part in building an everlasting marriage, I promise the following. Promise never to binge-watch a Netflix series with anyone other than you.
I promise to love you unconditionally. Promise to love you if we’re rich or poor. That’ll depend on the stock market. I promise that no matter the challenges we may face, as long as we are together, we can overcome anything. The thing that I love the most about you is that you make me want to be a better person. We challenge each other and always strive to do the right thing. No matter what we do, we do it as a team. I promise to love you be there for you for the rest of eternity. Today is an amazing milestone in our story, and I am looking forward to building our family together. I love you so much, Amanda.
Okay, we have two things. First, if you’re debating between doing a shorter or longer engagement, go for the longer ones, it is much less stressful, and we were actually able to enjoy the wedding planning process. Secondly, DO A FIRST LOOK! It was so amazing to be able to see each other before walking down the aisle. We got all of our nerves out and were able to take a majority of our pictures, which meant we could mingle during cocktail hour!
We have LOVED every minute of working with you! It honestly felt like we had friends alongside us who also happened to be taking pictures of the day. All of our vendors and bridal party could not stop talking about how amazing you both were!
