Overture Wedding Reception in Downtown Madison Wisconsin
Maggie and Jack had their well-awaited Overture Wedding Reception in Downtown Madison! They had an amazing backyard elopement last Summer. Due to Covid, they couldn’t have the reception they planned. Or the people they love in attendance. So they delayed the reception to celebrate the way they wanted!
Since then, they’ve welcomed a beautiful little girl into their lives! Beautiful Meg was well loved throughout the whole day of their Overture Wedding Reception! It was heartwarming to see all their favorite people meeting their new addition! It was also beautiful to see how much Maggie and Jack adore their daughter!
Maggie and Jack and two of the kindest humans we’ve met have been amazing, and getting to know them over the past three years!
I met Maggie and their home while the ladies got ready, and it was so awesome how laid back they were! Maggie did all the ladies’ hair; it felt like a sleepover! There was a bit of time to kill, so they watched a few old YouTube videos from when they were younger! So awesome to see their friendship grow!
The reception was at the Overture in Downtown Madison and it’s a STUNNING place for a modern wedding! I have been wanting to photograph a wedding here for so long! It’s seriously beautiful!!!!
We asked Maggie and Jack if they wanted to take more photos or if they wanted to visit with everyone! They choose to visit and I LOVED how they just wanted to be present and enjoy talking to people they haven’t seen in so long! Your wedding day is YOURS no one else’s! Enjoy it the way it feels right to YOU!

I love how much Jack loves. He has the biggest heart and is the best dad and husband.

I love Maggie’s authenticity. She is always true to herself and her values, and that brings out the best in me and everyone around her.

What personal touches did you add to make your wedding your own?
Jack got our vows printed to have displayed at our reception. It was special because people who weren’t at our original wedding got to read them.
