UW-Arboretum Spring Engagement Session in Madison Wisconsin
We may have had a late Spring here, but Leah and Jon’s UW-Arboretum Spring engagement session came at the perfect time! The weather was amazing and the trees at the UW-Arboretum were blooming! The second stop we made before the Arboretum looked like it was perfect for a Nicolas Sparks movie! Romantic and simply beautifully calm!
Let’s get to know these two sweet humans!
Their Proposal Story:
We woke up early to see the sunrise from Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park, Maine. They were the first rays of the sun to hit the United States that day! We were all bundled up and watched a spectacular display of natural beauty as the sun peeked up from the ocean.
After basking in the morning glow, we did a short hike around the summit and found a spot to sit down and take in the view of the Porcupine Islands. Jon said he was reaching into his bag for a snack and turned around on his knee with the “stunt ring” we so lovingly call it. Jon and I had decided we wanted to pick out the official ring together. I said “yes” and was completely surprised!
Their Perfect Sunday Together:
Waking up without an alarm, having coffee on the porch while listening to the birds. Enjoying a sunny day’s bike ride or walk to meet up with friends for lunch and a winery, taking a tandem kayak on the lake just the two of us, grilling out chicken and BBQ ribs, and a stroll down to The Chocolate Shop for some ice cream.
