Ginny and Ben’s big day was nothing short of a crafty fairy tale nestled in the industrial chic backdrop of Madison, Wisconsin’s Tinsmith. This couple’s love story could give Etsy a run for its money—with uniquely crafted ceramics made by Ben himself. This wedding wasn’t just about saying “I do,” it was a celebration of love, art, and a soup-loving community.
Once upon a time, in a land known for its love of cheese and the Tiki Shack (may it rest in peace), Ginny moved to Madison. Not long after, through a Rolodex of mutual pals, she met Ben. Fast forward through a series of Sunday soup nights. Featuring creamy chicken and wild rice soup and copious amounts of Batch bread—our couple falls deeply in love. But it wasn’t just soup that kept them warm. It was the community they built together! Full of artists and creatives with a dash of quirkiness that perfectly matched their own. And when Ben popped the question, there was no doubt that they would choose to celebrate their union in the heart of their beloved Madison.
The September warmth cut right through the air, as Ginny and Ben tied the knot at the ultra-cool Tinsmith. With an atmosphere as warm as their soup nights. The venue flaunted an allure with hints of historic grit and glasshouse glam.
Ben’s pottery prowess shone bright on their reception tables, spotted with handmade ceramics cradling blooms and housing rings. A testament to the personal touches that made the day uniquely them.
If the bespoke ceramics didn’t leave the guests speechless, the greenhouse’s hypnotic charm sure had ’em wide-eyed as the couple swayed during their first dance amidst the lush foliage.
And then, just as you think it couldn’t get any more delightfully unconventional, Ginny and Ben whisked off to the top of the parking garage for portraits. Yes, a parking garage! Perched high above the city’s hustle and bustle, they shared candid moments against a backdrop of concrete and sky, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. The laughter and love captured in those fun, intimate portraits quite literally elevated the celebration, showcasing their quirky spirit and the beauty in everyday scenes. It was pure magic, with a view to match!
This isn’t just Ginny and Ben’s story; it’s an open invitation to create your own magical narrative. Madison, Wisconsin, with its irresistible Tinsmith! And glorious greenhouse vibes, is calling all starry-eyed, engaged couples. The adventurous, outdoor-loving souls yearn for a venue with as much character as their love.
If you’re umming and ahhing over venues, if you want your wedding day to have that personal zhuzh, if you want a place where your four-legged ring bearers are welcomed with open arms—look no further.
