Christian had a grand plan for this day, and wow, did he and Katie’s family deliver! Imagine walking through the sandy shores of Picnic Point and stumbling upon a stunning setup complete with delicate flowers in the sand, glowing candles, and a bottle of champagne just waiting to celebrate life’s most exciting moment. Sounds dreamy, right? The setting was ideal for anyone considering Picnic Point for their proposal photography.
And because every great proposal needs a little suspense, we were there too, ready to snap every teary, joy-filled moment while “hiding in the bushes like ninjas.” (It’s a skill we’ve perfected over many, many proposals!) Christian texted us when they were “7 minutes out,” and the adrenaline started to pump. When the couple arrived, we watched from the shadows as he got down on one knee on the sandy shoreline and asked the question that would forever change their lives.
The cheers weren’t just from us! Onlookers from nearby boats erupted into applause as Katie said, “YES!” with overwhelming joy. The love, the excitement, the perfect moment…honestly, we were all teary-eyed.

Once the big moment was captured, it was time to pop that champagne (bonus points to the family for having it ready to go) and soak in the celebration. Christian and Katie toasted to their love, laughed together, and then dove into a mini engagement session with us, perfect for Picnic Point proposal photography.
