Off to the desert for a few days of learning, photographing, and growing—aka, hitting the refresh button in the raddest way possible!

Okay, real talk: this is the fourth time I’ve flown solo, and I’m equal parts terrified and totally amped. Flying isn’t my jam (hello, sweaty palms), but catching those unreal views from up high?

Worth every nerve!

There’s something wild about spotting mountain ranges, squiggly little roads, and fiery sunrises from way above—it makes the adventure feel even bigger and more epic.

This week, I’m absolutely stoked to learn from some seriously rad humans who are all about elopement photography. I’m diving headfirst into everything from capturing authentic connection out in the wild, to exploring new ways to tell epic love stories under those big desert skies. (Not to mention, soaking up inspo for editing styles, client experiences, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that makes sessions feel like you.)

I can’t wait to bring back fresh ideas, boosted creativity, and new tricks to help every client session be as unforgettable as possible. Every little bit I learn out here is going straight back into making your stories shine—and having a blast in the process!

From the moment I first met them during their surprise proposal at Olbrich Botanical Gardens to this breezy fall engagement session at Pope Farms, their happiness has been a constant. Big news, folks! I teamed up with a local school f

Big news, folks! I teamed up with a local school for some fundraising mini photo sessions, and together with some incredible families, we raised $350. Cue the confetti cannons!

The weekend was packed with laughter, a tiny mix-up that left us all giggling and blushing, and—most importantly—some absolutely stunning photos that are holiday-card-worthy and memory-keeper-approved.

It was such a heartwarming way to spend the weekend, and I’m already counting down the days until we do it all over again next year. Maybe with even more families?
