Madison WI Backyard Wedding
Maggie and Jack’s Madison WI backyard wedding wasn’t what they originally planned, but it was intimate and unforgettable! No one planning their wedding in 2019 or going into 2020 thought they needed to replan their wedding. Not only once, but some twice! Maggie and Jack postponed their wedding to 2022 but decided to get married in 2021 anyway! They invited their close friends and family to Maggie’s backyard, where he officiated an intimate, beautiful backyard wedding!
Before the ceremony, they got ready in their home together, but not seeing each other! They wrote their vows one last time and petted their fur babes before leaving out for their first look! Their first look was under the same tree we took their engagement photos under! It was such a special moment that they had all to themselves!
After their first look, we headed to their home, where we took a quick photo with both their pets in front! All before run over to their intimate backyard wedding!
They may not have had a wedding party, but they made sure their family and friends felt loved and appreciated! Maggie’s brother did a fantastic job with the ceremony that had us all laughing and eyes gleaming with happy tears! They said their vows to each other, causing not a dry eye around! So much love was in that backyard!
To celebrate afterward, they poured champagne and had a few emotional speeches! Their friends surprised them with a slideshow of congratulations. This was the sweetest thing! Their friends from all over got to give their own speeches! This should be a thing ALL THE TIME!
On the way to their reception dinner at the AC Hotel, we met them at the Captial for a few photos! The AC Hotel downtown has one of the BEST views of the capital!

Try not to worry about the little things. It will be perfect because you get to marry your person.
