When it comes to popping the question, timing and location are everything—and Max brought the enthusiasm to match. They took a moment to savor their brand-new status as fiancés, with the ring finally where it belonged.

With the proposal complete, we took the lovebirds on a mini engagement session right there in Olbrich Botanical Gardens. Basking in the afterglow of their milestone moment, Max and Mathena wandered along flower-lined paths, hand-in-hand, grinning like they’d just won the lottery.
