Door County Family Session in the Fall!
The Peterson Family was long overdue for family photos, so we got together for their Door County Family Session! Along with a hangout session with us! John Paul has been a friend of mine since college! He has seen me at my best and my worst! Along with being a significant cheerleader in my life! When he told me he met Melanie, I was so freaking happy for him!! He’s met someone that loves heavy metal concerts and doing good in the world! Both things are key to someone that matches JP!
I was stoked when they invited us to Door County for the weekend to get some family photos! Their FIRST family session since their little girl! Who, by the way, is so freaking bright! And a total badass! This little human knows how to work with her parents and keep them on their toes! In the most adorable ways!
The way JP and Mel talked about their little one was so sweet! They loved seeing her grow, learn new things, and teach them so much!! We also got to meet Melanie’s parents; her Mother is the freaking sweetest! Not to mention they make the most delicious eggs!
It was so awesome to see this family and hangout in their favorite places during a beautiful Fall weekend in Door County! The weekend went WAY too fast, and I will miss this family until we see each other again! I felt honored and lucky to photograph this rad family! And so happy they finally have family photos together to hang on their walls!
