I am going to share Kristen & John’s wedding day timeline! They had a four-hour elopement in Madison, Wisconsin! It was such a chill day where they got ready together at Mansion Hill Inn in Madison. Where they also had their first look right in their room!

Then we took the short walk down the road to the Gates of Heaven, where they had their very intimate ceremony! It was just Justin & I, Kristen & John, along with their officiant! Justin and I were their witnesses for the day! They wanted the day to be just them, so we were over the moon!

After their ceremony, we took a few photos outside at James Madison Park before heading off to Governor Island! We scouted this area the week before! Kristen and John wanted as much greenery as possible on their wedding day, and these trails had beautiful greenery everywhere! The sweet signs of Spring!

Here is their timeline for the day of their four-hour Madison Elopement!

230 – Photography starts at Mansion Hill

3pm – Kristen puts her dress on

330 – First Look in their room

Walk to Ceremony just a few blocks away

4pm – Ceremony at Gates of Heaven

430 – Photos at Gates of Heaven & James Madison right next door

5pm – Walk the trails of Gov Island & photograph Kristen & John

630 – Photography Ends (Kristen & John have dinner to celebrate!)
