WI Family Photographer that is Epicly Fun!
Seriously, I have the BEST job! Being a WI Family Photographer means capturing those once-in-a-lifetime, blink-and-you-miss-it moments of your little ones growing up. Want to know the coolest part? BOTH parents get to be in these photos, making memories with their kids that are frozen in time. Talk about a superpower that doesn’t require radioactive spiders or secret lab accidents! I haven’t blogged all these family sessions, but I still have some from 2023 to blog! But I couldn’t wait any longer to share! So here’s at least one photo from each session I photographed!
60 Families. Countless Memories.
This past year, I had the honor of photographing 60 families! That’s 60 unique stories, 60 moments full of love, play, and connection. Two were adoptions, and witnessing that kind of love and joy unfold? Magical. I also captured quite a few extended family sessions where relatives came together from across states—and sometimes even countries!—just to be present with one another. You may not see all 60 sessions here, as some parents have chosen to keep their children private! Which I understand!
And you know what’s extra special? Many of these families come back year after year. I’ve watched couples go from two to three kiddos (and sometimes four!), and it feels like I’m a bonus family member, cheering their little crew on as they grow. One mom recently told me, “These photos aren’t just pictures. They’re stories hanging on the walls of our home—they’re reminders of love, chaos, and all the in-between.” Moments like that make this job so much more than just a job.
Why Family Photography Matters
Time flies (seriously, someone slows it down!), but photos? They don’t just freeze moments; they immortalize feelings. The way your toddler grins at you before they pounce for a hug. The scrunchy-nosed giggle of your preschooler. Even the teen giving their best “too cool for this” look. Because you KNOW in a few years, those photos will make them laugh and cringe all at once.
My favorite part of being a WI Family Photographer is seeing those connections. Whether it’s a chaotic tickle fight, a quiet moment of mom reading to her kids, or the proud tear in dad’s eye as he gazes at the family he’s built—it’s all priceless. And I get to help you celebrate it. Literally the best job.
