How Peter and Michelle Met

Fate has a funny way of bringing people together. For Peter and Michelle, a friend named Andrea played Cupid. Andrea had been cutting Michelle’s hair for years, and one day, she introduced Michelle to Peter. After Michelle had just returned from a speed dating event that didn’t quite pan out. Lucky for Peter, he managed to capture her heart instead. “My first impression was that Michelle was beautiful,” Peter recalls.

Michelle’s first impression of Peter was equally enchanting. “He was tall, handsome, and well-prepared,” she says. Their first date was an adventurous outing that involved packing up a kayak and cooking brunch over a campfire at Picnic Point. “He made me pancakes, I made him bacon, and he sent me home with a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies,” Michelle reminisces. “Our first date was so good. There was a second date of more kayaking!

What Peter Loves About Michelle

Peter sees Michelle as a boundless bundle of optimism and energy. “She keeps the positivity going and helps push me to step outside my comfort zone,” he says. “She is loving and deeply cares about those around her. I admire her values and love her smile. Having her as a partner for the good days and bad days. And as someone I can bounce ideas, dreams, and thoughts off of, is something I deeply appreciate.”

What Michelle Loves About Peter

For Michelle, Peter is her rock. “He’s been there for me through some challenging times, to say the least, a pandemic,” she shares. “He’s always there with surprise Post-it notes of love and encouragement, a hot cup of tea after a long day, and has made the tough times easier. Peter is prepared for anything and is my true adventure partner. It doesn’t hurt that he’s tall, dark, and handsome too.”

Our session at the UW Arboretum’s Evergreen section was nothing short of magical. The lush greens and serene environment offered a tranquil retreat. Providing the perfect backdrop for capturing Peter and Michelle’s love story. As we wandered through the towering trees and vibrant plant life, their connection was evident in every glance and smile. The joy and excitement were contagious! Especially as they look forward to welcoming their new addition, a baby due in a few months. Every moment felt precious, preserving memories of a beautiful chapter in their journey together.
