WOW! How is it September already?
Seriously, every year Summer goes by faster and faster! Many say Summer had a late appearance this year. But, I think this Summer in Wisconsin was simply perfect. I don’t know if Wisconsinites are able to say that much.
Most Summers are filled with so many HOT and HUMID days! But, this year was filled with so many cool nights. Nights that were perfect for relaxing by the fire, and not sweating on your camping trips. And those super HOT days we spent those days relaxing by the pool or lake!
We actually did relax by the pool one Saturday that was hot and humid. It just happened to be a weekend we had no wedding. WHAT!? Yes, that happens sometimes. Our apartments pool was a busy one, with people relaxing in the pool chairs with a cool drink, half in reading a book and tanning with mini dips to cool off.
This Summer has also been filled with so many amazing weddings!
Our couples this year blew our mind! The heartwarming speeches that brought me to tears, ripping up the dance floor with killer moves and so many moments of pure happiness.
We’ve also done a record number of commercial and brand sessions! These types of session are my favorite to do! These sessions are 90% photographed by me. There is something rad about them! I get to get my creative juices flowing, get to know an amazing company and give them images to showcase just how awesome they are!

I don’t know if I can really express just how thankful I am for you. I leave each wedding and session with a feeling of awe. Feeling so freaking thankful you invited me into your lives, to photograph some of your most intimate moments. Photograph memories that you lived, didn’t live or made just then. Life goes by so fast, this amazing career of mine helps slow it down a little bit.
