Not to be dramatic but… this session was an absolutely awesome!

A rad engagement session at Boerner Botanical Gardens with vintage dresses (yes, puffy sleeves + a full-on train), a killer motorcycle, dreamy glowy light, AND a vintage cake for their save the dates??

Like… are you kidding me in the best way.

We wandered through the gardens, laughed a ton, and honestly just let them be them—which is exactly where the magic lives. The kind of photos that feel like you, not posed, not forced… just real moments with a little extra spice

Sessions like this are your reminder that your engagement photos can be whatever the hell you want them to be.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO.

You don’t have to have a big wedding.
You don’t have to get married inside.
You don’t have to wear a dress. Or white. Or anything that makes you feel like a stranger in your own day.
You don’t have to have flowers, a packed timeline, or invite people you don’t even like (respectfully… why are they there??).

You. Don’t. Have. To.

And I will remind you of this as many times as you need.

Because you do get to:

Fly to Iceland and elope with the wind doing its thing.
Camp in Joshua Tree, say your vows at sunrise, and celebrate around a fire.
Rent a rad house, get married in the backyard, and jump in the pool the next morning with your people.

Your wedding can be chill.
It can be chaotic (the fun kind).
It can be literally whatever you want it to be.
