That's it - that's my sales pitch to have an epic elopement in Wisconsin without a plane ride! Unless you fly here, which I say DO IT!

Kathryn & James had such an intentional elopement

Kathryn & James had such an intentional elopement at the Capitol!

Kathryn got ready with a close friend before heading to the first look with James on the Capitol building lawn. We ventured around the stunning building to find all the beautiful pockets of light that were a photographer's dream!

These two were just so calm & got lost in each other. They were in no rush; they were just taking it all in.

Their ceremony was in the Assembly Room, which was new to me & it was STUNNING! Then we celebrated their new adventure with photos at the UW Arboretum!

You will never know from any of the 1st look photos or photos afterward that I fell during their first look—HARD! Thankfully, my farmer's girl self can handle pain & still KILLED their day! And weeks later, I still have a bruise that is finally starting to fade! #niphotoweddings

Rhiannon SAID YES!!!!!

I dodged bees while waiting for these two rad humans to walk down the docks so Erik could ask a VERY important question!

With the help of our friends at @dafodilparker, who made some beautiful vase flowers with her favorite flower, tulips! YES, they found a few tulips in September!!

Together, we walked to the Period Garden just a few blocks away - a place these two have never been. But Erik knew Phiannon would love it, as she loves flowers & gardens!

Planning proposal sessions are one of my favorite things to do, I get to be a spy & help plan an epic moment neither of these two will forget!
