Pettibone Park La Crosse Wisconsin Winter Engaegment Session
Lexi and David couldn’t have chosen a better February date for their session at Pettibone Park in La Crosse, Wisconsin. It was the warmest day of the month! Nearly 50 degrees during their session! It was freaking awesome! There were moments when we all said we were too warm. That RARELY happens during a winter session in Wisconsin!
We met then at Pettibone Beach and set out to photograph the frozen river inland! I love photographing on frozen water! It’s not something you can do most of the time, and it always gets to new locations and views you don’t usually get!
We laughed a lot, talked about life wedding planning, and got plenty of pets from their pup Frodo! That dog was one of the BEST dogs we’ve photographed! He listened so well and simply adores people! I couldn’t get enough of him!
What is your proposal story?
David planned to ask for a year prior but experienced many delays due to Covid. When the ring finally arrived, he picked up the ring and planned to propose a weekend trip to his family cabin. We drove up, and the following day we woke up. He planned to put the ring on the straw of my iced coffee, but unfortunately, it was cold, so I ordered hot coffee. He brought the ring out with coffee and our breakfast pastries, and I immediately said yes!
