Beautiful Backyard Barn Wedding in Wild Rose Wisconsin
A classic boy meets the girl that most hear in movies! Nicole saw Matt out one night with friends, she thought he was cute. She goes for what she wants and write her number on a napkin and handed it to the boy. Nicole then left and not too long after that he called her. The rest was history! The first time Matt met Nicole’s parents he flew into Wisconsin from Washington DC SIX HOURS before Nicole! I don’t know about you, but that would be terrifying for me! But, Matt handled it and Nicole’s parents loved him!
Nicole & Matt’s beautiful backyard wedding was on a day that was completely different than the weather on their engagement session. The engagement session was cold enough to freeze my toes for hours. While their wedding day was a blustery 90+ degree Summer day! Even though without the wind it would have been too hot to be comfortable. The wind caused some problems, but no one let it phase them!
The ceremony was filled with so many personal touches.
Nicole wore her Grandmothers dress, both their grandmothers were flower girls, and she wore a blue butterfly of her grandmothers on her dress. Matt held onto Nicole’s handkerchief in his pocket, which he ended up having to take out for her to use. When Nicole’s Dad gave her away he and Matt shared one of the most sincere hugs! This caused more than a few of us to sob some happy tears. The ceremony was set back in the woods where they wrote their own vows while they cried happy tears. So much happiness was surrounding Nicole and Matt throughout the day! Whenever I looked around and saw them, they were always hugging, dancing and laughing with everyone they saw.
The reception was filled with some of the most and best dancing we’ve seen at a wedding! The first dance included lifts, twirls, and nonstop smiling! Before heading into the barn where they would all dance the night away to Spicy Tie Band – Nicole and Matt ran up the hill to and swung open the doors! Now that is what I call an entrance and call to party!
