Lincoln Park Chicago Illinois Engagement
This was our first engagement session in Chicago AND our first time to Lincoln Park! We had NO idea Chicago has such a rad beach! Seriously check out North Ave Beach the next time you’re in Chicago! We plan to come back in the Summer and spend more time! We didn’t use the beach as the skyline stole our hearts. City skylines are just as beautiful as mountains, they are a beautiful manmade mountain. Right!?
I am going to let Matt tell their proposal story
We went to Mexico with her family and I had been planning the event prior to the vacation. We took a walk down the beach with her family, and I asked her to walk ahead with me alone so they could take pictures and video the proposal. I got down on one knee and started trying to say what I had planned to say, but started crying almost right away. I stumbled through the proposal and she said yes (of course!) and we celebrated the rest of her night with her family. It was such a memorable night!
Their session was the last HOT HOT day before it cooled off again to be back to Fall Like Weather. We were all hoping for a cool breeze off the water, but we got no relief. Thankfully Meghan and Matt were game for being cuddly when they were covered in sweat and possibly getting a little stinky! That is real love right there!
