A fun engagement session at the Wisconsin State Capital, the Memorial Union Terrace, and a helipad!
Ya’ll I cannot say enough about this fun session with Valerie and Drew! In true Wisconsin fashion, the weather that was supposed to be rainy turned into a humid sunny day! We headed from their stylish apartment building to State Street. While we passed through the State Capital we just had to take a few shots, while we cooled down in its air conditioning!
From there we headed back to their apartment to change, grab their adorable dogs and use their amazing rooftop terrace! This terrace has some the best view of Madison! We didn’t want to leave! Justin and I even contemplated moving there!
After the rooftop, we grabbed a soda and Memorial Union Terrace as we waited for the sun to dip a little. The cool drinks on the hot humid day were so nice! We just grabbed some sun fulled images that I couldn’t stop freaking out over when I saw the back of my camera!
The end of the session was truly EPIC! Drew is an emergency medicine physician who specializes in Helicopter Emergency Medicine (Medflight) and resuscitation at the UW-Madison Hospital. So, of course, we just HAD to go to the helipad for some photos! It wasn’t something we could really schedule as we didn’t want to be in the way when there were real emergencies. This part was a dream come true for me for sure!!!!!
THANK YOU, Valerie and Drew for choosing us – we cannot wait for your wedding day next year!
