Maressa and Matt are two people who you can tell they just love each other fully and are also fully comfortable with one another. I love when this happens! Mainly because you can just tell that they lean on one another. Wedding days can be stressful and a little awkward as it could feel like everyone is looking at you. You have cameras what it feels like in your face all the time. So when you have a partner that helps you relax and have an amazing day. 

These two had a stunningly classic wedding with modern and a few antique touches. These touches came with the mismatched candlesticks – each one a little different. If you don’t know by now, I LOVE candles! Eating by candlelight has such a romantic feel to it. It allows you to be in the moment as the light is mesmerizing. 

They had amazing personal touches!

Personal touches were everywhere on Maressa and Matt’s wedding day! Their Wedding Cake was made by Matt’s Grandmother. The amazing wedding favors were small jars of maple syrup they mad themselves. Made themselves from the trees in their own backyard! Matt made the arbor that was above the wedding party family table. An arbor that was covered in greenery and had candles hung from it. This allowed for an even more intimate way to be in the moment with your wedding party. Oh and one of the best wedding hashtags ever! #MattandMaraSayIDooley (their way of having their pup Dooley there!)

Maressa and Matt got married on the East Lawn of Shully’s, with an arch covered in greenery and white floral. The wedding party was stunning in their Men’s Wearhouse suits and mismatched bridesmaid dresses. Dresses they got to pick out themselves! Each groomsman had amazing flasks with their faces on them! Isn’t that a rad gift for the guys!?

In your own words describe your day from the night before your wedding to waking up on your first day as Mr and Mrs!

So nervous the night before. Waking up feeling like the luckiest person in the world.

No challenges. Wouldn’t of changed anything!

What personal touches did you add to make your wedding your own?

Wearing my nonna’s and grandma’s jewelery. Making our own maple syrup wedding favors. Making our overhead for the table and dessert trays

Tell me about your dress, where did you get it, what did you fall in love about it?

Viero bridal in chicago. I tried it on and immediately started crying. Never thought that would happen!

What are/were you looking forward to most in your future together?

Starting a family, continuing to go on adventures together and growing old together.

What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding day?

Relax- it will all work out. Don’t stress!
