Madison Wisconsin Engagement Session
These two were a freaking blast at their Madison Wisconsin Engagement session! We laughed so much our faces hurt when we left! We met bu the Motorless Motion in Madison. Where there is a decomitioned train they wanted to use as their backdrop. When we arrived we noticed their was a fence near the engine of the train, but the back parking lot was still perfect! Plus, the building was beautiful and was a rad backdrop for their session!
What is their story?
We met our last year of high school and did all of the senior activities together; grad bash, prom, beach day, etc. After graduation, we went our separate ways but still kept in touch via social media, text, or visiting each other one or two times a year.
After graduating college Demetrius came back to our hometown and we caught up on the past four years and we’ve honestly haven’t been apart since. After months of friendship and years of knowing each other, we decided to date. Over the years we have moved across the country, from Florida to Michigan, and now our most recent move to Wisconsin. It has been an amazing journey and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for us.
Their proposal story?
Demetrius set up a couples trip with his college roommate and his wife. He and his friend both have February birthdays, so they decided to celebrate together in Toronto. Day one of the trip was Valentine’s Day where Demetrius presented me with a giant Ring Pop. It was super sweet because in high school he always joked around about proposing with one.
After receiving the sweet treat, I figured that was the only ring I was getting that trip. Later that night the four of us headed to Niagara Falls to explore and see the festivities for the holiday. When we arrived we got in line for the Niagara Skywheel. As we were boarding our passenger cars I noticed our friends getting in a different car which I found to be odd since we all were going together.
Less than a minute on the ride and Demetrius was down on one knee asking me to be his wife. We spent the rest of the night enjoying the company of great friends and playing all night in the arcade.
