Fun Emotive Wedding at the Landing 1841 in Burlington Wisconsin
Laura and Devon have an amazing love that you could just feel filling your soul during their wedding day. Everyone got ready together as they didn’t have a formal wedding party. But, their amazing group of friends got all dressed up in their finest and jumpsuits! They had some of the coolest and styling jumpsuits I have ever seen. The vibe as everyone got ready was calm and excitement.
Their ceremony included calm visualization of how everyone is connected to each other. How their love has connected to form a warm blanket to surround Laura and Devon in their marriage. They wrote their own vows, friends said kind words and read poems. A dear friend officiated over the wedding. All this while everyone blew bubbles throughout the ceremony! These bubbles created so much magic!
Their reception tables were decorated with plants that they grew themselves, with a little help from their friends. Guests got to take one home if they wanted too! How awesome is that! We took a small succulent that is now sitting on our TV console. A dear friend also made the table numbers. The reception ended with epic dancing, that we were sad to leave!
Here a little bit from Laura & Devon now:
Laura, what do you love most about Devon?
His commitment to caring for and about other people (family, friends, social justice). His patience and attention to helping me and others when we are struggling. How active he is: riding and commuting by bike, rock climbing, playing ultimate frisbee. The way he accepts people for who they are and where they are at. For living simply and valuing most of our time spent with our loving community.
Devon, what do you love most about Laura?
I Love Laura for her free hearted-silliness. For her passion for healthy, tasty, fresh food and quality cooking. Her biking and frisbee playing and swimming and exercising and attention to her physical health. For her gardening and plants and eclectic decorative style. Lauras love and compassion for me and friends and family and co-workers and strangers. For showing me how to love through cooking and love through cleaning. For her passion and encouragement for art and creativity.
What memory stands out most from your wedding day!?
The simple flow of the wedding day having a life of it’s own. Trusting everyone to be themselves and step into our dream creating love. And the BUBBLES!
What was your favorite part of planning your wedding day!?
Designing the Wedding Mugs we gifted to our guests. Sharing our joy and love and vision with our friends and family as the day approached. Having our friends and family volunteer their gifts and superpowers to help realize our vision.
How would you describe your wedding day!?
Magical. Connected. Flowing Love. Bubbles.
Advice for future couples?
Break all the rules! (couldn’t agree more!)
How did you feel about your experience with Natural Intuition Photography!?
We felt comfortable being our weird selves and supported/encouraged in it. Our wedding party felt the same way.

I love all of these! Especially those detail shots at the beginning, wow.
