When I was first asked to photographed Ashley and Brandon’s awesome Las Vegas Wedding, I immediately asked them if they wanted to do a desert day after session. Ashley was right on board, and it took a little convincing to get Brandon on board – but man when I showed them the location they were stoked! I am not going to lie, it was harder than I thought to find the right location for their day after session. Justin and I drove well over an hour to find this location, and we accidentally fell upon it when were were ready to give up. It was freaking perfect! The mountains in the back, sad, rocks and even cactus! The funny thing is if we all come back in a year or two this location will be filled with houses! Shooting in a location with absolutely no trees was actually harder than I thought, but the landscape was beautiful in its own way. We had so much fun walking in the sand, climbing on rocks and laughing together. Even the drive to the location was fun!
I am going to say it again, I have freaking awesome clients! I am so lucky and honored that they trust my ideas and vision – and even climb on loose rocks (with Justin testing first, and helping with the climb) to get the best shot. Thank you so much for trusting me Ashley and Brandon!
