Madison Elopement inside the Judges Chambers and Portraits and the UW Arboretum
Paige and Geoff had an intimate Judges Chambers Elopement in Madison, Wisconsin, inviting just a few of their favorite people to attend. We met and booked these two amazing humans just days before they decided to elope. So when I say you have enough time to plan an elopement, I mean it! It was one of Wisconsin’s most beautiful December days, simply the most perfect day to have elopement! You wouldn’t know it was December in Wisconsin when you look at the photos, though, do you?
We all met outside the courthouse, chatted a bit, and some met for the first time. We were all so overjoyed to be there to celebrate Paige and Geoff! We even ran into another couple who had just eloped, too! It was such a joyous day at the courthouse! I believe the judge said she did three that day! The way we all packed into that office was a sight to see, which made the intimate affair that much more awesome to be a part of and photograph!
After that ceremony and celebratory hugs, we headed to the UW-Arboretum for photos. We were in the evergreen section, which is BEAUTIFUL year round. But to add a bit of natural beauty and green to the day, it was simply perfect! And the cherry on top was the glorious sunshine that beamed down on us!
How They Met
Geoff and Paige’s paths crossed in grad school at UPenn. Geoff’s first impression of Paige? He thought she was hot and smart. Paige’s initial encounter with Geoff was a bit more mysterious. She met him at Penn but wasn’t sure he liked her because he wouldn’t reveal where he went to college. However, a chance meeting at a farmers market changed everything. Despite being hungover, Paige found Geoff’s curly hair irresistibly cute.
