Sunrise engagement session at Olin Park, downtown Madison, and a parking garage!
We were leaving for 2 weeks to Iceland and these two wanted to get their session in while the weather was good in Wisconsin. Because you NEVER know what the weather will bring you come October! Jess and Mitch woke up before the sun for their engagement session at Olin Park here in Madison. The sun peeked out just a bit before we headed down to some rad alleys in Downtown Madison. The sunrise was so cotton candy-like. We were hoping for beaming sun, but the cotton candy sky gave us all the mood!
Their sweet proposal story is right out of a storybook!
Overlooking the Arthur Valley at Mackinnon Pass on the Milford Track in New Zealand! Had alpine parrots (Kea) soaring around us and the clouds rolling up from the valley at us!
These two wanted to go to the alley behind the tornado room! We’ve photographed in this alley before and just love it! From just walking by you’d think nothing of it, but there is just something about it. The vines on the wall, the orange parking garage in the back and just how many options you have!
From there we went to the parking garage I spoke about above. We love photographing in parking garages! It is a blank canvas to get creative! This parking garage is perfect as the top is more open than others we’ve used! Plus, the backdrop is a little more simple than others, so we had so much fun getting creative!
