Rib Mountain Wedding in Wausau Wisconsin
Jaclyn and Elling were super relaxed on their wedding day and totally go with the flow! This was majorly helpful when the rain started off an on all day. No down pouring, just sprinkles – which no one seemed to really care about! Which was freaking AWESOME! Their first look overlooked Wausau Wisconsin, which was covered by beautiful greenery from the recent rain. The wedding party joined them with the amazingly wild floral bouquets and unique boutonnieres. It was a perfect day for a Rib Mountain Wedding in Wausau!
The amazing wedding party wore classic navy suits and mismatched grey bridesmaid gowns. Jaclyn’s stunning wedding gown had dainty lace sleeves with the lace continuing to the back. I couldn’t get enough of all the beautiful lace! Their ceremony was set overlooking Wausau, where their friends and family filled the seats! When the rain started again people took cover under umbrellas, purses and each other! Friends and family spoke and a friend sang and played the guitar during the ceremony. My favorite part was when Jaclyn proclaimed her I DO during the vows!
The reception was at the every beautiful Rothschild Pavillion where they had simple vases with fairy lights in them on each table! Farm to table catering that was some of the best food I have eaten at a wedding! I just LOVED all the veggies! I am a major veggie fan and wedding need to have MORE! After dinner, we took a short walk down to the water where the sun was out and it made for some dreamy photos and a great moment to get away and take in the day!

Touring venues – it was so cool to pick a unique spot for our special day

A blur of conversing with family and friends lots of fun
The biggest challenge in planning your wedding? What did you feel least prepared for? What could you have done without?
The forecast was a huge stressor leading up to the wedding! Some of the small decorations we could have done without – the big things are what really counted, like our guests and our love for each other.
What personal touches did you add to make your wedding day your own?
The choice of drinks and food at the reception reflected some of our favorite things to eat and drink at home. Also having the ceremony at a state park – Elling and I both enjoy hiking around parks with our dog, Geoffrey
What are you looking forward to most in your future together?
No real plans, just enjoying happiness together
What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding day?
Do everything you can to make the rehearsal and day of as stress-free as possible.
How do you feel about your decision to go with Natural Intuition Photography?
We feel great about! We liked the variety of pictures you took with just Elling and I and how comfortable and fun you made it feel.
