We are Christine & Justin!
Wisconsin Elopement Photographers who believe your wedding day & photographs should be filled with your personalities!
This was our first time photographing just a reception, and man was it fun! Gina, Tom, and their loved ones are amazing people. Whom all came from the East Coast to celebrate with them.
Gina and Tom eloped in the Faroe Islands and planned this amazing celebration with all their favorite people! A celebration that included delicious food from one of our favorite caterers, Heritage Tavern, and ice cream for dessert!
The day ended with an epic dance party! The dance floor at one time was so packed full of people dancing AND eating ice creams! There was even a time that we were photographing while eating ice cream! It was hard to eat it all before it melted! Thankfully the dance floor had an air conditioner blasting to keep everyone cool while they partied!
Her Smile
His patience and ambition
Being overwhelmed with love as we stood on the stairs looking out and seeing our friends and family, knowing they were standing there because they love us.
Seeing it come to life and how many people loved Madison whom has never been here before.
A whirl-wind of emotions. We’ve been talking about this for so long and the last week leading up to it was hard. We were overcome with gratitude. We woke up feeling incredibly lucky and blessed to have such an amazing group of people we call family and friends.
The little details. We thought too much about our guests and at times let that drive us nuts. I felt least prepared for how we were going to do our greeting speech and take pictures. We could have done without certain family members opinions and getting worked up over nothing… oh and all the cold brew we spent a week making that no one drank.
Well, we feel like everything. The menu, the table numbers by using pictures from our elopement, the speech we gave, the cold brew that no one drank, the bar offerings, the yard games, ice cream & grilled cheese! Our entrance song, Kanye West “All of the lights” was pretty personal (even though apparently no one heard it). The fact we made our wedding a legit celebration, it was a long relaxing evening that didn’t have to stick to an agenda.
Because we don’t like being the center of attention. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and we were afraid we’d lose focus on each other if we had a traditional wedding. We really just wanted to be by ourselves so we could get lost in the moment with each other. Also, we aren’t traditional at all. The idea of a traditional wedding was more terrifying than scaling a mountainside in a wedding dress.
Elope. Then have a surprise celebration party telling no one that it’s for your wedding. Fewer opinions = less stress.
Very very happy. There were times we forgot you were there (in the best way possible!) and I thought to myself “I wish I had my camera to take a picture of this moment!” only to see one of you guys close by doing that for me. Christine saved my poor dying bridal flowers, that was amazing. We loved that we trusted you to sort out how we’d get everyone together to take pictures, clearly, that wasn’t easy. You took a lot of that stress away from us, so thank you!
