I searched for hours trying to find the perfect spot to photography Chelsea and Nate for their fall engagement session. After not finding the right spot with the right enough amount of fall colors I got home and was like this is perfect! Our “back yard” is filled with half dead trees that turn early every year, and the light was always so golden and dreamy. We then went across the street to where there was a not so beautiful hill of grass and dirt – but it was more than perfect! I want to photograph in my yard more often!

I have gotten to photograph these two before at a park for their Summer portion of their engagement! This time we were more comfortable with each other and they got to meet Justin for the first time. It was a blast! These two were up for anything, they laid in the grass, climbed this not so pretty dirt hill, and battled mosquito’s. Nate proposed to Chelsea just over 5 years ago on their anniversary – how is that for romantic! This guy has a heart of gold, super laid back and the perfect other half for Chelsea. Chelsea is a girl who loves the outdoors, hiking and living in yoga pants just like me! We are a pair matched in heaven for sure! When we first met over coffee Chelsea was so organized with her wedding binder filled with questions, inspiration and a dream of her wedding day! But most of all I could see how excited they both were to be getting married and enjoying a new adventure with each other by their sides!

I cannot wait for your wedding next June – I know it’s going to be a blast!

with love, christine
