Late Summer Fair Session in Middleton Wisconsin
When Carrie asked me if I wanted to photograph them in on some Fair Grounds I was ecstatic! When she told me the grounds weren’t going to be open yet, I was like huh!? I was looking forward to the lights and everything. But it not being open yet was even better!!!!!! I mean who gets a fair to themselves!?
Dexter is one of the most rad dogs ever! (that may not be the best English – but come on did you see that face!?) Dexter has been through a lot in his dog life. He is a titanium knee – yup he’s part robot! Who could not love that face!? Especially when you put in him an old fashioned car! He looked like an old man behind the wheel! He drools a puddle with the biggest grin.
During the session, we all talked about our favorite fair foods! Carrie is like me and cannot eat gluten, yet we wish we could eat funnel cakes. Oh man, funnel cakes! If you haven’t had one – you do not know what you’re missing! Fair food is something you only get once a year, well if your lucky a few times a year! But, when you cannot eat the key things made there it breaks your food loving heart! Anyone have a recipe for gluten free funnel cake!? Help a girl out!
I truly want to make pet photography a thing now!Also, adding must love dogs and bring them to your session to my contract! I mean any pets really!? Have a bunny, frog, hamster!? BRING THEM! Anything furry — well NOT spiders! I draw the line at spiders! I mean come on if they are half as cute as Dexter the bull dog – you just HAVE to bring them! Our hearts will melt – we might talk to the pet more than you, but man you’ll get some killer photos of your pet!
