Milwaukee Commercial Photography ON A FARM! I was so excited when BrynTeg Farm contacted me for some commercial photography for their amazing farm! As someone who grew up on a farm, this hits close to home! Also, my mega love of gardening! Since I was little, I have loved gardening! I grew up with a garden in our yard for years before we all got too busy to tend to it. I was the one who mainly played in it, per see.
Overview of BrynTeg Farm: as told by Bretta
The farmland is spread over 13 acres on one big hill with a creek around it. The creek is one of my favorite spots. I spent a lot of time playing in the creek as a child. The farm has a long gravel driveway that winds up a hill and leads you up to a large shed. The driveway passes through two beautiful hilltop gardens on the way to the shed. My mom’s favorite garden is one of those hilltop gardens that began as an herb garden. There are arches and lots of uniqueness in this garden.
The farm is in the process of redirection, and we are all facing a reflection of life. We have a heart for teaching and see this as our continued focus. The farm has also been a place of healing for many. A place of inspiration for me as an artist.
Farm Life is Beautiful
A lot of how Bretta feels about those gardens is how I feel about our family’s dairy farm. I loved listening to her sister and Mom talk about how much they love the gardens. How it was started with her Dad and how they run off of pure volunteers.
This session was just the start of something big for this family! They want to start teaching about gardening, fruits, veggies, and more. All on social media! Homesteading is enormous right now, and the way these ladies should spread their knowledge to so many is so beautiful! I cannot wait to see where they take this!
