Intimate Backyard Elopement in Madison Wisconsin
Katie and Angus had a super intimate backyard elopement with a few family and friends in attendance. To keep it even more personal, Justin officiated the wedding while I photographed it. I wrote a custom ceremony with some special vows for just Katie and Angus.
When we arrived, we were greeted with happy faces that were excited for the day. The backyard had beautiful florals everywhere! We were also all in awe of her Dad’s garden! It was amazing! The location they choose for the ceremony was simply perfect! A beautiful tree/bush has a backdrop with some wildflowers from Sunborn Gardens!
They recorded the ceremony for Angus’ family in the UK. Sadly the travel ban due to Covid wouldn’t allow them into the States. But, thankfully, with technology, they will be able to relive it over and over!
After their ceremony, they celebrate with bites to eat made by Katies Mom and some champagne! Before we headed out for a bit for photos, they cut a stunning cake!
The day was pretty hot for Wisconsin, and these two were amazing through all the photos! When we got done, we were ALL dripping with sweat! Joking about how we’d love to jump into her parent’s pool! Also, on how they totally should as soon as they arrive back the house! I truly hope they did!
