I met this family just about a year before this session for these two adorable babes newborn photos. Otto and Iris loved giving us a workout at their session. As soon as we would sit them down they would go in opposite directions. Or one would smile while the other look utterly confused. I couldn’t stop laughing at these two while the adults were getting a workout. I think I told these beautiful babes parents that I thought their kids were adorable a million times. Â Even the awesome fact they called their bouncy chair toys – baby containment devices – was freaking brilliant! As parents who are reading this know – this statement is so true!
Their session was set in their front lawn to grab the remaining fall light coming through the trees. When it comes to little ones I try to stick as close to home as possible to help the parents out a bit. This way they don’t have to lug a thousand things along that could help keep the little humans happy. As parents and photographers of families know – sometimes this is a challenge. As a photographer I let the parents know this is normal, and I click a million times a minute to capture a cry that looks like a laugh. Snacks are also a must, and as soon as these two babes got a snack in their hands they were still. Super cute mushy snacks cute still!
I have so much love and respect for these two parents, they are doing a beautiful job raising two beautiful children. I hope to see this amazing family grow throughout the years! Along, with seeing and hearing the mischief these two rascals are putting their parents through! We know they team up!
